So true! I had no idea that my son could get free college in Virginia until I started looking into scholarships and found the VMSDEP Program.
There are various benefits in Tennessee, including a Veteran's driver's license, special rates on hunting, fishing, and concealed carry permits, free handicapped parking designation for disabled Veterans, property tax relief for disabled Veterans and surviving spouses, state Veterans' homes and cemeteries.
Is Federal VA and state VA give the same benefits?
Basically what I’ve read is that Texas and Florida are miles ahead of the other 48 states when it comes to veteran benefits. Hopefully I can land my next career in one of those two areas ??
