It never gets done when it is always someone else’s job. Leaders routinely lose their influence to those willing to get it done. Boundaries must be built and maintained to avoid burnout and not waste time and energy. However, an area in the middle is occupied by those with influence. They do the things that may be ‘below them’ or ‘shouldn’t have to’ because it needs to be done. Leaders build their reputation and scale their influence by ‘doing’ while others argue why it is someone else’s job. Who is the someone? #leadership

It is a-okay to not have an answer. Especially if you're a leader. ?? So often as leaders we feel compelled to KNOW more than anyone else. But in reality, there's a certain power in admitting you don't know everything -- when messaging to your team, when messaging to you leaders. Forcing an answer is worse than admitting lack of acknowledge. #leadership
