I FAILED NINE TIMES, PASSED ON THE 10TH ATTEMPT!
Can you imagine? For this certification, I failed 9 times. Nine! By the time I got to the 10th attempt, most people would’ve expected me to quit or explode with frustration. Honestly, that’s what the old me would’ve done—raged, panicked, and spiraled into anxiety. But instead… I smiled. Every time I failed, I took a breath, took a break, and tried again. And every time I came back, I learned something new, something I had missed before. By my 10th attempt, my understanding of the subject was top-notch because I chose to see failure as a teacher, not an obstacle.
In this world, we treat failure like a roadblock. But honestly? Success is so much more satisfying when you’ve experienced failure along the way.
Here are my three reasons why failure is your greatest steppingstone to mastery:
??It sharpens your skills.
Failure forces you to look deeper, think smarter, and understand better. With every attempt, you gain new insights that make you more skilled and informed. By the 10th try, I wasn’t just passing the test—I owned the material.
??It builds resilience.
Let’s face it—resilience isn’t built in comfort. It’s built when things go wrong, and you keep pushing. Each failed attempt is like a hammer strengthening steel. After 9 failures, nothing could shake me anymore. My confidence came from knowing I could keep trying without breaking.
??It redefines success.
Success isn’t just about reaching the goal; it’s about growing through the process. When you’ve fought through failure, success tastes so much sweeter because you earned it. You didn’t just arrive—you evolved.
The next time you fail, don’t throw in the towel. Smile, take a break, and come back stronger. Failure isn’t the end; it’s just the beginning of your next victory.
