He is scheduled for a critical surgery soon, and he needs our collective help more than ever. Business owners: Did you know that there is no governance or oversight of people who claim to be bookkeepers. After years of business management and accounting experience, I started my first bookkeeping firm in 2000. I’ve witnessed small business owners lose everything through embezzlement and I have appeared as an expert witness on their behalf. Under oath, I had to swear that I could/would answer any questions they had. How? I understand their business operations and accounting processes. I can provide, explain, support and validate every single line item on their financial statements. I’ve audited accounting practices within hundreds of companies and created their accounting processes. Once proven as accurately producing expected results, final documentation of their processes will be created. It’s time for change.

Living Beyond Lupus: My Story of Resilience Two years ago, lupus became a part of my story, but it didn't define me. The initial shock and uncertainty gave way to a deep-seated determination to take control of my health and my future. I realized that lupus might be a part of my journey, but it wouldn't dictate my destination. The journey hasn't been easy. There have been days of debilitating fatigue, painful flares, and frustrating setbacks. But with each challenge, I've discovered inner strength, resilience, and a growing community of support. Lupus has taught me to appreciate life's simple joys: a quiet morning, a beautiful sunset, or a warm conversation with loved ones. It's shown me that every day is precious and that every moment counts. As I navigate this new reality, I've become passionate about raising awareness and advocating for others affected by lupus. I've connected with fellow warriors who inspire me with their courage, humor, and determination. My diagnosis has become a catalyst for growth, self-discovery, and purpose. I've learned to prioritize my well-being, listen to my body, and celebrate small victories. To those who may be facing a similar diagnosis or challenge, I want to say: you are not alone. Your story is not defined by your condition. You are strong, capable, and resilient. Lupus may be part of my story, but it will never be the ending. Instead, it's a chapter that's fueled my passion to live, to love, and to inspire.
