NAR Lawsuit? Is OVER???? THE Lawsuit will be over soon regarding the national association of realtors if you haven't already heard. What does this mean exactly? In Colorado & other states, the commission has always been negotiable. ALWAYS. That means the buyer & the seller can negotiate with their realtors what they'd like to pay. There isn't a SET number across the industry. Will home prices go down? Absolutely not. Basic supply & demand principles here & we've been in a housing shortage for years. Can the price of the overall transaction go down? Sure, if you do business with a discount realtor for discount results. That's all negotiable & up to you! If we really want to talk about affordability, talk to your employer why your wages haven't gone up at the same pace their profits have along with inflation & current cost of living.
