It's no surprise to us that both Kingsport and Johnson City topped the list of the best places to live in Tennessee, according to USA TODAY's 2024 study! "The USA TODAY Homefront team ranked 20 cities across 16 key metrics, aiming to highlight the best locations for settling down in Tennessee." "Johnson City topped the list, followed by Kingsport, Cleveland, Knoxville and Chattanooga, due to their lower cost of living, better health care, higher life expectancy and overall safety." Kingsport was ranked #2 and Johnson City was named #1! "Situated just a half hour from its neighboring city, Kingsport, Johnson City performed well in categories pertaining to important metrics such as health care and public safety," USA TODAY reports. "It ranks second highest for the number of primary care providers per 1,000 residents (9.6), ensuring excellent health care access for its population." Both these spots in the Appalachian Highlands are absolutely beautiful places to make a home in, with lower costs of living and great healthcare access earning them the top two rankings on the list. Since our inception in 2018, the HSA has proudly accomplished significant milestones and made remarkable strides in advancing the Home Staging industry. However, as we reflect on our journey, it's evident that the time for change has arrived. In order to propel ourselves to greater heights and expand our reach, we must evolve. Our vision is to reach more individuals, garner greater recognition for our industry, and ensure that our impact is felt more profoundly. By embracing change, we pave the way for enhanced visibility and broader engagement, enabling us to make an even more substantial contribution to the Home Staging community. In order to facilitate further growth, it is imperative to enhance participation within the association and implement structural modifications aimed at decentralising its image and operations. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that the Home Staging Association is now welcoming a newly-appointed Board, who will steward the association in this new phase as it transitions to member governance.
