Curious about data and accuracy of measurements in your #building? In a an ongoing experiment, we installed a MClimate 16ASPM (16A Switch & Power Meter), controlling the LED logo on the roof. The #MIDmeter, installed by our landlord to bill us for the electricity, recorded 232kWh, while the 16ASPM showed 230.5kWh for December 2024. Comparing the data, the 16ASPM displayed a -0.65% variance from the MID meter. Despite not meeting MID meter certification due to its lack of display, the 16ASPM impressively maintains accurate measurements. By the way - this 16ASPM is intentionally in very harsh conditions, enduring sub-zero temperatures, no real IP protection of the box, absence of RC snubbers (recommended when you are controlling inductive loads like LED drivers, fans, ACs, etc) - a true test of its reliability! Road to #netzero is long and steep.
