Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) binding is a bookbinding method that utilizes a reactive adhesive containing polyurethane. These pellets are melted down in our machinery, then the adhesive is applied to the spine of the?digitally collated book block. The Cover is then applied to the glued book block before undergoing a curing process to activate the reactive adhesive and create a durable bond. We then do a final three way trim to the booklets finished size.
