Choosing the Right Lockers for Your Humid Facility

Choosing the right lockers when designing (or redesigning) your facility can ensure you get the best lifespan out of your space without adding any unnecessary expenses. In spaces where above-average humidity is involved, you have two options: Polycore or Polycore HD lockers.

Constructed with a phenolic frame and an HPL door, Polycore Lockers are water-resistant where you need it but maintain the aesthetics of a laminate locker. Wet towels or swimsuits can confidently be placed on the phenolic interior without a risk of moisture damage. Each door features a marine-grade PVC edge band to prevent moisture from penetrating the laminate. The laminate doors also allow a wider range of color options than a Polycore HD locker, allowing you to ensure your design scheme does not end at your lockers.

Polycore lockers are available in a wide variety of color options and textures. Choose from any of our Impact HD , Ultramat , or Ultragloss colors, or a standard finish from any major laminate supplier.

If your lockers are in a high-moisture environment, such as a pool deck, directly adjacent to heavily used showers, or outside, Polycore HD Lockers are your best option. Featuring a full phenolic composition, these lockers can endure even the most extreme environments. Paired with the IP65-rated OJMAR - Intelligent Locking Systems Combi Pro or one of our High-Security Hasp locks, Polycore HD lockers can withstand the highest humidity with ease.

Polycore HD lockers are available in a variety of wood grain and solid-colored finishes that feature a smooth finish. Due to the Phenolic composition of these lockers, the edges of each door and frame are matte black.
