Some of our ladies had a busy day yesterday. They had the honor of attending the Inaugural Women in Sports Luncheon, the kick-off event for the Rocket City Softball Showcase. The opening game was played last night, with Alabama taking a win over Jax State! Not only did these ladies get to hear and participate in a Q&A session with Dr. Karin Lee, Deputy Director of Athletics and Senior Women Administrator at the University of Alabama, they were able to get a sneak peek of the transformed field. It was inspiring and empowering....like them?? And yes, the all red was intentional.....when it's #americanheartmonth?? we drive red. The day was capped off networking at the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours with the Huntsville Havoc. A hockey puck may have been won.
