A few of Haley & Aldrich's Midwest-based staff and I recently attended a panel discussion, moderated by Allison Roberts Grealis of Women in Manufacturing, at the Union Club of Cleveland that featured women in business leadership roles. The CEOs of Parker Hannifin, The Lubrizol Corporation, and MMI Textiles shared career advice and opened up about the most important leadership lessons they learned along the way to their current C-suite roles. This was an inspirational opportunity to learn from these industry leaders and reflect on the importance of professional development to support career advancement.

#OnThisDay in 2022, Former Governor Asa Hutchinson announced $200,000 in funding to establish the Arkansas Delta Women’s Leadership Academy, an initiative to mentor and empower women across the Delta region. On the same day, Chancellor Todd Shields revealed an additional $1 million anonymous gift to support the Women’s Leadership Center at A-State. The combined contributions helped to expand mentorship opportunities, foster leadership development, and launch innovative programs aimed at uplifting women from diverse backgrounds. These efforts build on the center’s mission to help women “Step Up, Reach Back, and Expand Out,” creating a supportive and welcoming environment for future leaders. #WomenInLeadership #AStateMade
