I’m excited to share my latest project,?Extensions in Space, which explores new ways of interacting and collaborating simultaneously through gestural communication. The project is rooted in?non-verbal communication?dynamics, where simple everyday gestures are coded to allow for?simultaneous sharing and modification?of content in a shared space. The interaction is entirely?multimodal, adapting to the spatial relationship between individuals: the closer you get, the more the modes of interaction shift. ?? What’s innovative? Unlike physical interactions, sharing and modifying in this system is?reversible, offering greater freedom and opportunities for experimentation. This approach blurs the boundaries between personal and shared spaces, opening up new possibilities for collaborative work. ?? Last week, we had an enriching and enlightening design thinking workshop at TRD STUDIOS | Business Life Cycle Management Company , in collaboration with TRD LABX | TRD House of Brands our very own Industrial Prototyping Center and Design Studio. This event wasn't just about tackling projects, but about delving deep into our internal processes and envisioning our future together. We asked ourselves critical questions: What do we want to see? How do we want to move forward? These conversations were our highest priority, and they sparked a collective vision that aligns with our commitment to innovation and teamwork. Embracing the essence of 'Design Thinking is a mindset, not a toolkit,' our dynamic teams from TRD Studios and LABX united their divergent thinkers and intuitive minds to foster a culture of empathy and rationality. We recognized that true innovation stems not just from tools, but from a shared mindset and approach. The workshop was divided into three distinct segments: exploration, learning, and solution generation. Each segment showcased our team's dedication to the design thinking process, leveraging diverse perspectives and skill sets to tackle challenges with creativity and resilience. Through this workshop, we've not only honed our design thinking skills but also forged stronger bonds and a deeper sense of trust within our team.
