Free Food Drive thru 8am October 3 at First Baptist Church of Park Forest, 80 N Orchard in Park Forest. Please read parking instructions as it is a new location. Enter on LAKEWOOD. Pull around to the EAST side to start lining up. There is plenty of room and there will be several lines on the east side. Please make sure that your trunk is cleaned out and roll down ALL your windows so volunteers can talk to you. Please stay off your cell phone & NO dogs are allowed in cars due to previous issues. We will NOT tolerate being disrespected when asking you to hang up the phone. If the call can not wait...pull to the side and let others pass you. this INCLUDES Bluetooth and even if your phone is on speaker and not in your hand. NO exceptions to this rule. Do NOT cut in line in front of others. You will be asked to go to the end of the line when you get to me. As we continue to grow with an average of 275 families each week; our partners & organizers have had to adapt how we distribute items. Due to supply limitations, people picking up for multiple families may see a lesser amount of items instead of receiving multiple cases/items. This is to ensure the vehicles driving through the giveaway get as many of the items that day instead of running out early. For example, if you're picking up for 2 families, you may only receive 1 case of an item instead of 2 cases and need to split it up between the families.

Here are six practical tips to help you plan ahead and stay safe: 1?? Drive Sober, No Excuses: Even one drink can impair your judgment and reaction time. In Florida, you are considered legally impaired with a BAC of 0.08 or above, which can lead to hefty fines, license revocation, and even jail time. Remember, it's never worth the risk. 2?? Designate a Driver: Plan ahead and choose a designated driver before the celebrations begin. If you are the designated driver, stick to non-alcoholic beverages and ensure everyone gets home safely. 3?? Use Rideshare or Taxi Services: If you don't have a designated driver, opt for rideshare services or call a taxi. Many communities offer sober ride programs, providing free or discounted rides on St. Patrick's Day. 4?? Stay Where You Drink: If you are attending a party or hitting the bars, consider staying nearby or booking accommodation to sleep it off safely. 5?? Host Responsibly: If you're hosting a gathering, encourage your guests to plan ahead for a sober ride home. Serve plenty of food and non-alcoholic beverages, and stop serving alcohol well before the end of the party. 6?? Be a Responsible Passenger: Never get into a vehicle with a driver who's been drinking. If you spot a drunk driver on the road, report them to local law enforcement immediately.
