????Call for Papers Journal of Wound Management Special Issue 2025. In 2025, the Journal of Wound Management (JWM) will publish a special issue focusing on pressure ulcers/injuries. This special issue is made in collaboration with the EPUAP - European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel and will provide an opportunity for researchers, clinicians and education providers to inform the professional and scientific community about the latest advances in the field. Pressure ulcers/injuries are key indicators of care quality, reflecting adversely on patient well-being. Despite recent advancements, their prevalence and impact on patients and caregivers remain significant. The initial results were excellent. The public health system can be viable with responsible management that is sensitive to the demands of the population.

Wilderness Medical Society Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Frostbite: 2024 Update Conclusions This summary provides evidence-based guidelines for prevention and treatment of frostbite. Many important questions remain and should serve as a focus for future research. This includes elucidation of pathophysiology, medications to assist in the prevention of frostbite, peri-thawing procedures to reduce injury and decrease morbidity, and post-thaw therapies that might improve long-term outcomes. https://lnkd.in/gCbUJymy
