??Health Insurance: Basically Adulting for Your Health?? Let's be real, health insurance sounds like a total drag, right? Monthly payments for something "invisible" that may or may not happen. Sounds like a scam designed by boomer corporations. But think of it like this: ?? Life throws curveballs: You get a surprise illness or injury. This can be expensive – think of unexpected ER visits, urgent specialist appointments, pricey prescriptions refills. ?? Health insurance is your teammate: It helps pay for those costs. Think of it like splitting the bill with a friend after a night out – you both chip in, but it doesn't destroy your wallet. ???? There are catches: You might have a deductible, which is like your "entrance fee" before your insurance kicks in. Think of it like a cover charge at a club – gotta pay a little to get in! Here's the breakdown: ??Premium: This is your monthly fee, like a subscription to the "health club." ??Deductible: This is what you gotta pay upfront before insurance helps. ??Copay: This is a smaller fee you might pay for certain visits, like a doctor's appointment. Still confused? No worries! Drop a comment with any health insurance Qs you have, and will break it down for you. #AdultingLevelUp #HealthGoals

*Frequently asked Question on Health Insurance* *Question of client* :Why buying health insurance is important even though if I am healthy & Fit. I will buy later after age 35 or 40. *Answered by financial advisor* It's great that you’re healthy and fit, but health insurance is most beneficial when you don’t need it yet. Buying it early ensures lower premiums, and you can complete waiting periods for pre-existing conditions before you actually need the coverage. Waiting until 35 or 40 might result in higher premiums or exclusions, and any unexpected illness or accident before then could affect your eligibility. Health insurance is like a safety net—you secure it now to protect your health and savings in the future. **Don’t let today’s health lead to tomorrow’s financial risk!"** Regards Sandip Suvarna Financial Wellness Coach https://wa.me/919323672904

I have seen many of my friends who are employed in Govt services or MNCs like Microsoft, and Google where they have very good health insurance covers for their employees. However, for many of us, the situation is not as good. Many of us don't take personal health insurance thinking our company is offering health insurance anyway. We need to be clear on the following and only then we can be sure we don't need personal health coverage: - What is the amount of health coverage provided by my employer? If it is at least Rs. 10 lakhs, we may consider it adequate. Often company plans give 2-3 lakhs coverage. Is it a sufficient amount? The answer is clearly a NO! - what are the terms & conditions? How many diseases are not covered? What is the room rent limit? What are the other terms of the policy? One person known to me was surprised when his wife was hospitalized and his company's health coverage did not even cover half the medical bill. - Does the company deduct a premium from salary or is it free of cost? I recently found a case in which the Company is deducting a large amount of premium from salary whereas the same amount of health cover is available in the market at a lower price. Health insurance is no longer a luxury. It is one of the most important & basic elements of any family's financial plan. We need to have clarity over confusion. What is your view on the necessity of a personal health policy apart from the company-provided one? #healthinsurance #financialplanning #financialliteracy

At 52, one of our valued customers always focused on her career and adventurous pursuits rather than health insurance. She loved to travel extensively and enjoyed gourmet cuisine without much concern.? She did, however, become aware of the repercussions of her negligent attitude to health after experiencing a serious health scare while on a hiking trip. This made her think about her alternatives for health insurance, but because of her age and sporadic health problems, it became difficult for her to get appropriate coverage at a reasonable cost. So, when should you buy Health Insurance? As a founder of an insurance broking company, I would say, BEFORE 30. Because: ? When you're younger, the chances of falling ill or facing critical illnesses are lower, resulting in fewer claims against your health plan.?This allows you to secure a larger coverage for a lower premium.? ? Pre-existing conditions are rare among young adults. Additionally, most health plans have an initial waiting period of 30 days a specific waiting period of 2 years and a pre-existing waiting period of around 2 to 4 years. This makes it easier to fulfill the waiting period and access coverage when needed. Let's not wait for a health scare to prioritise our health. How to get Affordable Health Coverage that stays the same every year without signing up again? If you’ve ever had work insurance or a marketplace plan you know what a pain it is to sign up for the “new plan” each year The new plan usually has less benefits each year because the company noticed how much less affordable the plan got each year. If your marketplace plan disappears each year, it’s replaced by a plan with fewer doctors or maybe different doctors that accept less money from the insurance company. Insurance companies that take the least healthy people in our country are hit by inflation more and more each year. They have to take care of all most expensive patients on the planet. Here’s the solution: Shop private market plans with me - the kind you can’t sign up for online. A private PPO doesn’t take the sickest people so they don’t pay out nearly as much in hospital bills. This leaves plenty of room in the budget for a huge, nationwide doctor network. This opens up all 50 states and US Territories for you. This means the plans continue on each year without any major changes (unless your state insurance division makes some tweaks to the plan). The path forward is private insurance. It keeps going until you reach medical age, and you only have to sign up once. DM me to find out how

Health Insurance - Questions to ask yourself: ?? Do I have any coverage at all? Most quality plans will not cover pre existing conditions. Clients say to me all the time that they do not need health insurance because they have no drug costs. Flip that around… you need health insurance BECAUSE you have no drug costs. Going forward any changes in your health are covered. ?? Do I get to keep my coverage when I change jobs or retire? Some companies allow you to carry coverage into retirement, while others terminate your benefits when you finish work. There are options out there to put something in place at a low-cost now so that future you will have no trouble getting a quality health plan when you leave work. ?? Does my plan have high enough limits for future me? I’ve seen perfectly healthy people be locked into drug plans with extremely low limits and are paying a high cost. No health plan is exactly the same - it’s worth a review to understand what you REALLY have ?? Am I making the most of my health coverage? There may be features of your plan you could benefit from that you simply don’t know you have access to.

? Ease vs. cost ? Fixer Upper as a television show was a major success. People would watch the Gaines Family take a fixer-upper, pour some effort into it, and make it into the home of their dreams. The idea is that a little hard work can save you some money and still get your desired result. Now, if we take a look at the health insurance landscape we see similar options before us: either pay the big bucks for a newly renovated home that from the outside looks like it has it all or pay less and put some effort in, but get the same desired result. ?? If you want to win at the health insurance game it is going to be uncomfortable at first. It is going to take some work on your end. You have been lulled to sleep thinking that if you have to take a vested interest in your health insurance it must be bad. ?? Ease says "I hate health insurance, I just want to turn my brain off". That mindset is costly. ?? The average family is paying close to 20k a year on health insurance. It is time to do the hard things and find ways to get better healthcare for less money. Don't let fear or apathy tear down your financial goals.
