"Money Can't Buy You Loyalty" automatically made me think of the Beatles and their song, "Can't Buy Me Love." Tell me you won't hear that song in your head for days now...but, I digress. LONG gone are the days when casual Fridays, pizza parties and gym memberships created a culture resulting in anything remotely resembling LOYALTY. But, by far, the one that will derail all efforts, no matter how on-board everyone else may be, is a CEO who is not. Which must involve the CEO’s complete buy-in and deep involvement. Where they are the person leading and driving the change, working hand-in-hand with HR. Or all efforts will fail. ? Shifting a culture is not a short-lived initiative or program with no CEO involvement. ? Where life returns to normal months later, once the initiative has been rolled out. It’s a new way of being, of putting some new practices consistently into practice. Resulting in the advantages organizations experience when they commit to engaging their employees: ?
