Adding context instead of just sending that “hey” Slack message is a form of workplace kindness. ??
A thoughtful reminder from Headspace that small actions, like adding context to a message, can significantly enhance workplace communication and kindness. It’s these micro-moments of consideration that create a culture of respect and collaboration. What’s your go-to gesture for bringing a little more kindness into your workday?
What the heck is Slack?
Love it! It’s such a simple way to be kind in the workplace and can really make a difference in how we connect with each other. Taking that extra moment shows respect for people’s time and creates a more thoughtful, collaborative environment.
Oh my gosh - yes! So helpful to know just a little more so that you can prioritize the response.
Whoever needs to hear this, I hope this finds its way into your feed and gently encourages you to do better. ????
Context is so important. Try and think how you would feel about whatever you’re about to send before you send it if you were on the receiving end.
But some people think the context is extra noise. What about we put the context or background at the end of message since may be less important.
