The key to their success will be the ability to develop software to be the common denominator across all these domains. Anduril Industries is doing this with Lattice. A great reminder from Dr Shyu that UXS exist in multiple domains, and we need to not only be cognizant of that fact but we need to be prepared with a 360-degree spherical awareness - a bit of a dynamic shift from our usual perspective in the force protection world and some other areas of the battlespace. We’re only in early days when considering the massive potential of these platforms as both enablers and threats, and in how we need to shift our innovation and processes to enable the joint force to tackle the problem.
