On February 27, the 76ers hosted their seventh annual Sixers Youth Foundation Gala, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Sixers Youth Foundation. Proceeds from this year's Sixers Youth Foundation Gala are approaching $2 million to benefit local youth. Coach Nurse, the 76ers team, and alumni, including Allen Iverson, were all at the event and rallied with 1,400 attendees to raise money for the youth of Philadelphia.
