I'm Lyndon Smith. I've been here since 1994, CEO of Huma and prior to last year we were known as bio humanetics. As far as human is concerned, you know we are a global company. We are heavily involved in the agricultural space and we make the most efficient delivery mechanisms available for crop nutrients. We develop fertilizers that are humic. Based which is a substance that we mine out of the earth and sell it and mostly to the Ag market. We're a 50 year old company that's really in startup mode and in that process it helps to have someone facilitate the whole cycle of strategic planning. The company had grown to the point where we were beyond kind of the Vistage or at least the Vistage group I was in. They were all in that 5 million area and I'd started when we were in that $8 million area. I felt like we had outgrown that group and so I was looking for something else and didn't know that that's what Corwin was involved in. And one day we were just happened to be together. And I I said to him, hey, what are you doing anyway with your life? And so he shared with me what he was doing and I said, wow, I'm looking for something different. He has a great coach, he's very knowledgeable in lots of industries and lots of just management style decisions that companies need to make. And so he is really good at just bringing us together. As a group and then talking through various issues, just coaching us down the right paths. We've been working with them for five or six years now. We have definitely become stronger as an executive team. He's been instrumental in keeping us on task. We can get squirreled kind of easily here and he's really good at keeping us on our trajectory that we want and reminding us what we're doing and keeping us grounded. You could say we could do it ourselves, but insight that we get from team. Of coaches where they bring industry knowledge, they've taken time to read and study up on really helps us when we're focused on the day-to-day operations and being able to tap into that insight. Also helping us think through different strategic options that we might not have thought through. Having an outsider's perspective, particularly one that works with other companies and sees how things are done in other companies or industries and brings that insight to bear. And so we've found that very valuable. Our customers will come in, they'll hear our story and they'll say. You guys have a plan, you have a vision, you have a purpose, you know where you're taking this. And we may not be the largest player in agriculture as far as volume, but everyone of those customers that comes in and many of them are very large players compliment us on that. And they say you guys use discipline in a way that we seldom see from anyone else out there. So I think the cadence approach, we have quarterly meetings, we plan for each quarter, we plan for the year. It's all done perfectly sequenced and it works really, really well. Press One of the things that Corwin did right from the get go was to introduce us to the Rockefeller habits and when he introduced those and we graded ourselves and we looked around the room at each other, we were like OK, we failed this so bad And he said I can help you guys get those Rockefeller habits down where their second nature to you. He recognizes the time when he allows us to just brainstorm together right and just facilitates conversation rather than lead the conversation, getting us together in the right form in order to. Make the decisions that we as a management team need to address and oftentimes don't have time to address, but forces us to to get in those positions to do it. It's been a great learning experience for me. I have learned a ton and look forward to learning more. I know there's so much out there. So I think we will always need somebody like Corwin and his team because we're always going to need to learn and grow. We've grown over 50% in sales since we began our coaching, you know, 4:00-ish years ago. You might have the best players, but you do need a coach to at least guide those players. You need someone who's looking at the whole field. Customers love to see the fact that we make our values, our purpose, where we're going. We've been in this business for 50 years and they can kind of see why. And it's by doing things like hiring a professional coach that allows us to continue to improve, to get better and make us really a great proposition for a lot of our partners who. Lot of come and work with us. Yeah. I think one of the things that we've learned more than anything else, how do we treat each other in this process? There's a statement that Corwin uses regularly be rigorous but not ruthless. And so we strive to at least identify. Sometimes we hold back and we don't share what we really need to share in those difficult moments because they are difficult moments. But if we can be rigorous, meaning we ask people, well, another question, you know, good solid question. What about this or what about? Matter have we thought about this? It really helps them to identify and solidify their thinking and their thoughts so that at the end of the day, we're really giving the very best that we've got to what we're doing and what we're all about.
