The video captures the early stages of construction, including drilling and grouting, as well as the installation of the piling mat in preparation for the Vibro foundations. SITE SURVEYS - Tomorrow I shall enjoy some interesting work. I will fly a drone to capture images of the rooftop of a historic flour mill. This mill has been structurally restored and when it was originally built they made it incredibly strong to support the massive tonnage of the grains. Today, this flour mill is no longer active so there are no major loads to contend with from a structural engineering perspective. So mounting a Smart Meter gateway at less than 100 lbs on the top of it will not be a problem whatsoever. The drone will allow us to see the rooftop up close and with high resolution images to review and discuss afterwards too. When doing smart meters in rural areas, there are always options to mount the gateways. Water towers are wonderful and grain elevators, like the one in the photo are great as well.
