I am heading to MI this week to learn more about the market there. And speak with cannabis industry curious CPA, Finance Professionals and Fractional CFO's. Sadly I will not be attending the Flower Expo. But am excited for those who can make it. Classic cannabis industry double booking events in same state over the same dates. SMH It sounds like they have a solid line up. If I was there I would make sure to learn from the following speakers Lisa Williams, Steve Riparip, Willie McKenzie, Jack Grover, Brady Madden, Ben York, Andrew Harrison Rosenblum Traditional Business is hard. Cannabis business is harder than #traditional business. So learning from business owners who have already done the dang thing of running #profitable cannabis companies is huge. They have already made/witnessed many of the common #mistakes so those coming after them shouldn’t have to. It is not mysterious or ”luck” to own, operate and improve profitability of a cannabis company. The speakers know that. And knowing what good (profitable) looks like helps avoid wasted time, money and focus. It does not mean it is easy. But it is straightforward when you know what you are looking for.
