?? Graza always nails their branding and exemplifies what it means to be a market disruptor - all by actually listening to their customers. They gave a common, boring product a makeover with more functional packaging, fun & "aesthetic" branding and focused on how their product was "not like the others". ?? When customers gave feedback that the (while beloved) plastic packaging wasn't as sustainable as competitors' glass bottles - they issued a near perfect response: sell refills in beer cans(?!). ? It's quirky, it starts a conversation, it addresses sustainability concerns, and it's instantly recognizable thanks to their branding and killer influencer strategy. I'd even dare to say that seeing a bottle/can in a friends' kitchen could now be seen as an "IYKYK" status symbol that people can bond over. All this to say - I'll be going to the store very soon to try it out. An olive oil rant wasn't on my bingo card for this year but here we are ?? Half of the cask is bottled as it comes whilst the other half is given an additional maturation in a second cask. “can be inherently dangerous” The Virginia Wine Wholesalers Association and Virginia Beer Wholesalers Association have made a statement in court document describing the products in the industry and that their members carry as "inherently dangerous". As a member of the industry, I am appalled by this description and believe it is not a position we want anyone representing us to take. While there may be great wholesalers doing a great job, it's important to disassociate ourselves from any association that supports this point of view. I urge all producers to contact their wholesalers and ask them to exit their association membership. Let's cancel membership and disassociate ourselves from any association that is damaging to our industry. Trying to defend an outdated sales channel is one thing, portraying the products we sell like this is unforgivable. #cancelmembership #wineindustry #beerindustry
