I voted. Hey y'all, the early voting polls were busy so I can only imagine what November 5th is going to look like. You might want to consider voting early to avoid standing in long lines, especially if you have a physical or medical challenge. EARLY VOTING ENDS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND. {Time varies by location} As a former Officer of Election here are a few things to note: ●If you have a disability and are unable to walk into the building, an election official is required to bring a ballot to your car for you to complete. It's called "curbside voting." ●If you have difficulty reading or completing a form you can ask an election official to provide assistance. They are required to help you. You can also bring an assistant with you. ●It's unlawful for any person to loiter or congregate within 40 feet of the poll entrance. Officers of Elections will be stationed outside and inside of the building to assist you and answer any questions you may have regarding ballot content and the voting process. ●If you're in line and the polls close while you're waiting to cast your ballot you have the right to remain in the line until you vote. It's unlawful for anyone to ask you to leave the line before you've voted. POLLS CLOSE AT 7PM. Forward Party No Labels Everyone needs to advocate in their state, the federal district, and the territories to have no additional requirements to ballot access other than those already listed in the constitution, completely open primaries/caucuses, fusion balloting, free automatic voter registration, and nonpartisan registration. No one should ever lose their voting rights if they have been adjudicated for a crime and incarcerated. In addition to that, a constitutional amendment needs to be passed to enlarge the size of the house of representatives. Each district should have about half a million residents within each district. This would add about another 200 representatives to the house and would provide much greater representation for the nation, matching that of democracies with large populations across the world. This is how you can improve democracy. With these changes, I would also advocate that senators should be selected by their state officials as it was in the original constitution. I would also like to see that the vice president would be the first runner up in the presidential election instead of having president and vice president on the same ticket. This was also the original version of the constitution. I would also like to see the age requirements for federal elections be lowered to 25 across the board, and not just for the house of representatives.
