What was great, not so great to improve on and what were my key takeaways. This is what I do in my netball coaching as well to continuously improve and it works well. What was great and worked well::? ?Connections ?Positivity ?Growth ?Relationships ?Opportunities What was not so great: ?Take time out when I need it and do not feel I need to explain this! IT’S MONNNNDDDDAAAYYYYY!!?AND WELCOME TO JULY!!?The start of the 3rd quarter!?Are you ready for it??Ready for the challenge??Of course you are.?Did you have a good weekend with the family??I hope you did and got out to enjoy some good weather.?And with that I hope that you got out and did some MYB-Move Your Body exercises with them.?Most of you know that I’ve been playing pickleball.?There’s a guy who I follow on YouTube who is good with the tips that he gives for improving one’s game.?Kyle Koszuta. Next week I am fortunate to participate as one of the four speakers in JumpLeads “Make a Change” program at the Boort Tennis Club. The theme is “Let’s talk about Big Weather” and JumpLeads is hosting four seminars over the north region of the state to capture different perspectives. “Living with water/too much/too little/how do we adapt” is our theme at Boort and I am building on Bear & Twigg’s purpose – “Sustainability with Substance” as the core focus of my presentation. Working with the natural environment especially in times of impactful natural events (floods, droughts) can enhance people’s resilience and capacity while also building business profitability. The big kicker of the forum is that each presenter has only 5 minutes to speak. My immediate reaction was “how can this work?” How can anyone deliver pertinent information in this truly short timeframe. But in Bear & Twigg’s continuing endeavour to challenge our comfort zones and our own beliefs, I am now really excited about this dynamic and innovative “taster” approach. What are the most important and crucial messages that must be communicated? What can I leave out? How can I use photos or other media methods to share our message? Is this “taster” approach the way of the future. These are the questions I have been posing as I prepare. Although still nervous, there is now a level of excitement which comes when we move out of our comfortable position. I am looking forward to listening and learning from the other three presenters who will be there on the day.
