Stop building rental units and start building condos and townhouses (similar too an over-55 community) specifically dedicated to 1st time buyers. They can gain equity towards home-ownership and will leave a property for the next round of 1st time buyers. The alternative is manifesting today as all our children leave Long Island to find affordable housing in other markets.

A stark reminder of the housing crisis we're facing. Kudos to Habitat for Humanity and Chris Vincent for advocating on this critical issue. #HabitatVoicesInAction
