FUN FACT FRIDAY ??How WWII Shaped Today’s Petroleum Industry ?? Did you know that the modern petroleum industry owes part of its innovation to WWII? Facing enormous logistical challenges to fuel vehicles and aircraft across diverse battlefields, Allied forces needed efficient, portable refueling solutions. Ingenious engineers, like E.O. Habhegger, responded by designing the first portable refuelers, paving the way for today’s advanced fuel management technologies. ?? Legacy Beyond the Battlefield What started as a wartime necessity became a cornerstone for industries like construction, agriculture, and logistics, where on-site fuel access is essential. Since then, portable fuel solutions have evolved dramatically, incorporating digital tracking, spill prevention, and multi-fuel compatibility to meet modern demands. Explore how wartime innovation transformed the petroleum industry, creating technology that still powers industries around the world today. Check out our latest blog,”Fun Fact Friday: The Evolution of Portable Refueling Technology from WWII to Today.” ?? Did you know biofouling can increase your vessel’s fuel consumption by up to 40%? Studies by the Office of Naval Research indicate that biofouling can lead to a 40% increase in fuel consumption and even a thin film of slime on a hull can create enough drag to reduce fuel efficiency by 20% to 25% according to the IMO. Understanding the impact of biofouling is the first step toward a more efficient fleet. *Tip:* Maintaining an always clean hull through regular proactive cleaning is the key to reducing drag and improving overall vessel performance. Don't let biofouling drag your fleet down! https://hubs.li/Q02N-wrG0 #Biofouling #VesselEfficiency #MaritimeInnovation

Look, the submarines don't need refueling because they produce HHO from sea water. Sea water is great because it's already mixed with salt and other minerals (pure water is not electrically conductive). Low voltage electrolysis produces so much hydrogen and oxygen from sea water for fuel, that they continuously dump excess out the side (because it takes more unnecessary effort to compress and store them, and it rather makes too much noise for stealthy submarines). The whole world can run on HHO with any existing internal-conbustion engines (which bi-product is clean water not carbon-monoxide) once we have gotten rid of these greedy sons of bitches.

When loading a vessel, we need to be confident in its stability. To do this, any loading condition must meet the requirements set by the regulatory organization. In this video, I want to show how to use the HYPET LOADING CALCULATOR to check if the loading condition meets the stability criteria. Ports are expensive, Arctic ports 10x. That does not change the need, but the financing and the need for multiple parties and an understanding of the value. The fact that the 10% couldn’t be funded by Nome alone is wrong. There are multiple users that could be part of this that would make this a good investment. A much better investment for AIDEA than drilling rights on the North Slope.

This will never be entirely possible because a submarine needs displacement, machines, and pumps to operate, but we can get as close as we can. Nevesbu provides engineering to make sure submarines remain undetected by integrating Target Echo Strength Materials. #submarineengineering #submarinedesign #targetechostrength
