Why Carbon Credits are Overlooked & Indispensable for Decarbonising Agriculture The concept of #CarbonCredits is often misunderstood, especially in agriculture. While much of the backlash against offsets is justified, decarbonising agriculture without carbon credits is nearly impossible. Farmers often grow with a crop rotation, yet when agrifood companies roll out #RegenerativeAgriculture programmes (eg. insetting initiatives), they typically only pay for one specific crop, thereby leaving gaps in support for full-farm sustainability.
