?? First Steps in Autonomous Robotics: My Article at LACCEI 2024 ?? I'm deeply honored to announce that my article on autonomous mobile robots (AMR) has qualified in the top 10 in the international student competition at the LACCEI 2024 conference! More importantly, it is published for further reference at the proceedings. ?? My article dives into the implementation details of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) using the ROS2 framework, combined with the Gazebo simulation tool. I explored in a simulated environment an implementation of a differential drive robot with a single lidar sensor that navigates autonomously through a simulated environment.
