Your team is more than the sum of its parts. The secret is hidden in nature. Learn how 1+1 can be 11: Consider an ant colony. Each ant has a specific role. Some gather food, others build the nest, and another group defends the colony. Alone, an individual ant couldn’t survive. But as part of a greater whole, it can thrive. Teams work the same way. Each member has a role, and together, we achieve more than any one of us could achieve alone. It doesn’t stop at a single team or a single colony. Both are part of an even greater system. But only humans are aware of that. We know that we are part of a team. This team is part of an organization which is part of the economy. The better we understand this emergence, the more value we can provide. That is how 1+1 can be 11 or even 111. By understanding our place in the system, we can change the system. That is why I believe in the power of education. If one of us learns, we all learn.

I just want to rant today! I’m definitely not the only one that feels like this on LinkedIn, but I’m going to drop my piece. Algorithm have been messing with me this month and it’s not what I like! Yes, I know we’ve all agreed to not focus on algorithm, but let’s be real. I showed up even on my busiest days, only for algorithm to be playing with my heart (it’s not encouraging). Imagine putting a lot of hard work into doing something you care about but that stuff doesn’t care in return?? Nobody should tell me that algorithm doesn’t matter. I know too, but let’s act like it matters today and allow me to rant. However, I’m not going to give up nor quit because of Mr. Algorithm. I will stay and fight this good fight?? P.
