?? It’s Recycle Week! ?? We’re joining the nation in celebrating Recycle Week 2024 (14th - 20th October). This year's theme is ‘Rescue Me’ and it’s all about rescuing those recyclable items that might sometimes find their way into the rubbish bin. It's also about making the most of our resources, whether that’s recycling materials we’ve already used, or choosing sustainable, locally sourced products. Did you know that around 80% of the timber used in the UK is imported? Just as recycling helps us reduce waste and conserve resources, supporting the use of UK-grown timber helps us manage our woodlands sustainably and reduce our reliance on imported materials. By doing so, we can lower our environmental impact and foster a more resilient, self-sufficient timber industry here in the UK. Let’s use this week to think about how we can make small changes that have a big impact - whether that’s recycling one more item each day or choosing products made from sustainable, homegrown timber. #RecycleWeek #RescueMe

Recycle Week 2024 ?? WRAP The theme this year is focused on 'Rescue Me' and the campaign aims to highlight the importance of rescuing recyclable items from heading to the rubbish bin! This week is National Recycling week, ran by Planet Ark. The theme of 2024 is #JoinTheCycle - keeping products in circularity and to encourage people to re-imagine and re-think their relationship with resources. Back in 2018, we rebranded from Breen Group to Breen Resources to highlight our commitment to keeping valuable resources out of landfill and back into circulation by producing recycled products, such as mulch and soil. Landfill space in Greater Sydney is expected to run out by 2030, which means collectively we all need to take action by reusing and recycling from our day to day lives to construction and building projects. #recycledmaterials #buildingmaterials #recyclingweek #nationalrecyclingweek
