We are excited to share that Autotrak Group of Companies “Follow Me” Feature has been significantly improved. The changes affect all web-based Autotrak product platforms. What do the feature changes involve: 1. Once a vehicle is chosen in the vehicle tree view, the feature will automatically activate, allowing customers to track their vehicles without having to manually select the tracking option each time. 2. The “Follow Me” Feature will automatically pause when a customer draws an area. 3. To stop/deactivate the feature simply select the “Pause Tracking” button. What is Eco Driving? One of the features of our Trackd platform is around driver behaviour monitoring or as some may call it Eco Driving. It's all based on things like harsh braking, harsh acceleration, harsh cornering and speeding. This can be shown through notifications, however, with a fleet of 20 vehicles, this can become quite overwhelming. So to bring all of this data together in a concise way, the platform is able to rank all of the drivers from the information pulled from their driving habits. This gives you a great visual indicator of how people are driving your vehicles, which directly impacts things like fuel use and wear and tear. You can then see which drivers are costing you less through their driving.
