???????? ?????????? ???? ?????????????????????? ???? ???????? ?????????????????? ???????????? You can join up to 100 groups on LinkedIn but realistically you can only keep tabs on and be active in a handful. But a long term issue with notifications has meant even keeping track of discussions in a small number of groups has been a challenge. A case of discussions out of sight being out of mind. I noticed recently that LinkedIn had made changes to notifications within groups including giving the option to be notified of "ALL new posts". I must admit I was skeptical as group notifications have been intermittent at best and more often non-existent. After testing the "All new posts" option for the last month in a handful of my favourite groups I am happy to say it works well. ?????? Don't take my word. Try it out today. (Check out the slides for screenshots). Group managers let your group know about this simple setting. ?? Love to hear your thoughts, could this update herald a revival of groups? Do you use this setting already to track group discussions? #linkedintips #socialmedia #networking #groups #gregsposts
Hey guys, users now get a gray pop-up that notifies them of this new notifications feature for groups. Here's a screen shot...
What are your most favourite groups?
Really handy to know - thank you Greg Cooper
This is fantastic Greg! I’m going to reference this in my article about LinkedIn groups I’m hoping to finish this week if that’s ok.
Be very nice if I could tell each member in our 47 groups about this, wouldn't it! (Sorry, sometimes the inefficiency of LinkedIn's communications makes me snarky.)
Thanks will try this
Greg, I might be doing something dumb here but it's not working for me. Please see this quick explainer video to see where it's going wrong: https://share.vidyard.com/watch/qDQgKT1fB5NvmUs7GisbrT?

4 年That’s really encouraging to hear Greg and definitely throws Groups a lifeline if it works as well as your test has shown??
