This demonstrates how highly efficent and reliable public transport system can reduce road traffic.

How will new consumer habits, dramatic new infrastructure and future vehicle design enable lower-emissions transportation systems? In Accelerated Futures: The New Eco-Mobility, Stylus highlights the best-in-class initiatives helping consumers adopt eco-mobility without sacrificing comfort or convenience. To maintain a liveable climate, transport sector emissions must fall by more than 3% annually until 2030 (according to the International Energy Agency). Drastic, cross-industry changes are needed to approach this target. This represents a tremendous opportunity (and responsibility) for brands and businesses to reinvent mobility solutions for the future. Beyond automotive, sectors including hospitality, leisure, retail, technology, housing and real estate – to name just a few – must all align with better, more sustainable transport systems to future-proof cities and communities. While electric vehicles (EVs) are important, they won't lower transportation emissions enough on their own.
