I read a post on?PR Week?last week which suggests that in the past 6-months the number of first time agency M&A deals is increasing.?In fact, it suggests first time buyers were?driving?the agency M&A market in 2024. I agree that Hahn acquired MedVoice and JSA acquired Forward Vision (both first time acquirers and mentioned in the article) but otherwise I’m not really seeing that same trend. Non-media and media were ranked the highest ranked asset classes among respondents. Intellectual property was a polarizing category, as about 1/3 ranked it last, while 1/3 ranked it first.
