Formula V: A Further Step Towards Trustworthy IT Systems On Monday, our managing directors, Gerhard Fettweis and Tim Hentschel, together with BI researcher Sebastian Ertel, joined the partners of the new project “Formula V” for their first in-person meeting in Halle, hosted by the Agentur für Innovation in der Cybersicherheit GmbH (Cyberagentur). As part of the “Ecosystem Formally Verifiable IT – Provable Cybersecurity (EVIT)” program, Formula V is focused on developing a formal verification system for hardware and software, setting new standards for security and reliability. This meeting marked the official start of a valuable collaboration, bringing together experts to address the critical challenges of trustworthy IT systems. We are proud to manage this project and look forward to driving innovation alongside our partners. A really awesome car platform. It was great exploring the similarities between two disrupters in their respective industries. I'm a car guy and the Rivian R1S is hands down my favorite car of all time. Rivian can do things because of the Zonal architecture that others dream of doing. #VW sees the power of the platform https://lnkd.in/ewKZXCGG and so do we at Palo Alto Networks. In similar fashion Palo Alto Networks is doing things others dream of doing in cybersecurity because of Platformization. When you have a common design framework, control the code and the architecture, you're able to move faster by reducing complexity. This is a huge benefit in the automotive industry and in cybersecurity. Integration partnerships can never keep up, it's simply too hard to pull so many disparate products together at the code level. You have to love that your car is better today than it was when you bought it.
