On November 6th, the second day of the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), DuPont and the Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) have entered into a cooperation agreement for a high-performance specialty lubricants project in the FTZ in China. The signing event took place at the DuPont exhibition stand in the presence of leaders from DuPont China and Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone. ? We had a great first two days at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) where we are showcasing DuPont's successes around innovation, sustainability and solutions through the theme: "Connecting Global Innovations with Local Needs." CIIE is one of the world's largest trade shows, running from November 5-10 in Shanghai, China. Serving as a meeting point to boost international trade, CIIE welcomes over 3,000 exhibitors and more than 400,000 visitors from around the world each year. Colleagues from Electronics & Industrial (E&I) recently came together at ten in-person events in Canada, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the U.S. to present their research during engaging poster sessions. We also held a global virtual poster session. These events served as a platform for discussing innovative ideas and exploring how the research can address customer challenges. Participants had the chance to review and discuss the posters, and cast their votes in multiple categories, recognizing the standout contributions both locally and globally. ???? We’re celebrating 70 years of innovation at our site in Circleville, Ohio! Over the decades, this facility has been at the forefront of manufacturing Kapton?—a groundbreaking polyimide film known for its exceptional electrical, thermal, chemical, and mechanical properties. Additionally, our site produces advanced materials for Vespel? polyimide parts and shapes, which are critical for high-performing applications in extreme environments, particularly in industries like aerospace, electronics, and electric vehicles. To celebrate this milestone, we hosted a fun-filled day for employees, partners, and their families. From delicious food trucks to pumpkin painting for the kids, bouncing houses, animal farms, games, cake, popcorn, cotton candy, and exciting door prizes—there was something for everyone! Each employee also received a special anniversary sweatshirt as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication over the years.
