Obviously I asked myself the same quick fire questions I aimed at our MD and hopefully you can also know a little more about who I am ?? How long have you been with LIQUI MOLY? Coming up to my 3 year anniversary ??What is your role? Marketing Manager of LIQUI MOLY Australia ?? Tell us who Belinda is: I am generally an easy going person however can be very direct so you will always know where you stand. I will always make the time to be there for someone when they need and like to find solutions rather than flag problems. ?? What do you enjoy most about working at LIQUI MOLY? The one thing I enjoy the most is being at a racetrack and calling it work. I always find myself in a garage with my head under a bonnet or talking to a team manager or engineer, even having a laugh with a driver but always learning something new. The best of all of this is meeting the fans that pay to be there and are passionate not only about the racing but also about our brand and what we are doing. It is great to get that direct feedback whether it be good or bad (and yes there has been some bad). ??What do you do away from work to relax? Usually I like to read to relax however this year my husband and I are building our first home and so far it has been enjoyable and relaxing (retail therapy is relaxing right ??♀?) Life happens outside of your silo. For many, it is easy to put your head down and do the work and then do the next work and the next, ad nauseam. But the beauty of work happens when you lift your head up and experience it with others. When you recognize the teamwork. When you admire the difference that your work makes. When you look at the road behind you and see how far you have come. I was reminded of this by Alex Lewis and his awesome article about Marcus from The Bear, ?? which ends with the beautiful phrase, "In the shaping, we become." In the shaping, we become.
