Greater Dalton has changed so much in the last decade. Once known solely as the Carpet Capital of the world, it's now a dynamic hub for healthcare, flooring, synthetic turf, solar energy, and host of thriving businesses accented by physical beauty and wonderful parks. Greater Dalton as a destination for commerce, logistics and recreation driven by years of research. Forward thinking strategies and collaboration. Greater Dalton has emerged as a city on the move and it's very hard. Or regions defined by our entrepreneurial grit, relentless innovation and the immense community pride that we all share. They know things about our business community, our development, our housing. And I love that that there's an institution like the chamber that can say this is what happened before. A lot of the confidence came from the housing study believe Greater Dalton had done because it showed us exactly what the need was. And that we could fulfill it. Dalton is home to over 100, 000 people communicating in 20 languages. Conveniently located on the I-75 corridor. Greater Dalton is strategically positioned to engage markets from coast to coast and throughout the world. Dalton is home to an entire industry with billions of investment dollars from companies from around the world. We figure out problems and we know how to do and make great things. The Joint Development Authority works with our partners to collaborate on ways to help our workforce grow our primary. Mission is prepare students for the future and a large part of that is workforce development for our community. Without that collaboration with industry, we're only guessing at what industry needs. We bring in those students that maybe are not ready college. We provide them a place where they can work until they decide if they want to continue working or if they want to go to school. Exciting opportunities in all different types of careers. I mean anything you can imagine. Our industry here in Northwest Georgia has those opportunities from bus tours to senior talks to project. Purpose or Design, Engineering and manufacturing camp. Your Chamber is working to develop our talent by connecting our youth to business leaders and creating pathways to future career opportunities. Greater Dalton Chamber is all about knitting our members and putting our community first and very important thing to make sure that we're connecting with our businesses on issues that are important to them to make sure they're growing. We look at small businesses to large businesses, putting them in a place of success and make sure that Greater Dalton is a place to live, work and play for generations to come. They have helped me build this business in just a year time so drastically and it's brought me so many new customers that have become friends. UGA is famous for creating Tiger Woods, I think is really the one that started it. The fist pump, right? He, he's in a clutch play, he chips one in, he makes a putt that is incredibly difficult that he succeeds and he pumps his fist in this regard. And I wonder if we might not want to get back to that as individuals. Whether I, I see a new subdivision going in, whether I hear Stephanie talk about a game that the communities had in education, whether I hear Carl Campbell say something that's a positive. How are you? This pump, I don't care if you just do it in your head or your brain, but there are moments that we witness, whether we're members or not, that we can momentis and create enthusiasm around the community we live in. An economy is only as strong as its community. Since 2018, we've connected research and vision with resources and partners to improve our quality of life. We love Greater Dalton and we want you, the people of Dalton, to love it too and be proud of. This place that we get to call home, reminded of this song and the Wiz that says, when I think of home, I think of a place where there's love overflowing. That's the way I feel about Dalton. That is a place where people genuinely care about each other. This year, I had the opportunity to volunteer with greater adult and young professionals at Grateful. We're we're able to serve our communities and people come together. That's creating that space where there's understanding where there's this push for a greater. Nolan.
