Big news! We've commissioned our pilot plant, which will produce several hundred kilograms of clean hydrogen and up to 1,000 kg of solid, graphitic carbon per day. It’s a big moment for our company, the natural gas industry, and the domestic graphite supply chain. Check out our press release here - https://lnkd.in/gJxU_gC4 We are also announcing our rebranding as Graphitic Energy, where our new name reflects our mission to produce both hydrogen and graphitic carbon. Find our website here - https://lnkd.in/gWJNTaWw The future of clean hydrogen and graphite starts now. Let’s go!? #GraphiticEnergy #CleanHydrogen #Graphitic Carbon #Graphite #EnergyInnovation #Rebrand
Congratulations on this remarkable achievement and the highly sophisticated application of pyrolysis to produce turquoise hydrogen. Well done!
Graphitic carbon IS Not graphite, so several important questions. How much more additional processing is needed to make sellable graphite and specifically battery grade graphite? How does the cost of this battery grade graphite compare to battery grade graphite produced from conventional synthetic graphite or natural graphite? Regardless, congratulations on getting the pilot commissioned. Methane pyrolysis beyond the lab is not for the faint of heart.
Does this comply with OSHA's ladder regulations at the time it was built? One of the ladders has no cage but may have a fall arrest system. Two ladders have cages, which OSHA has not allowed to be installed on or after November 19, 2018.
Thrilled to witness the great progress and proud to be a part of this achievement!
Congratulations!
congrats to the Graphitic team!
We are looking forward to seeing your ribbon cutting!
Great news Graphitic Energy
Going on at least a year of very mediocre news for clean hydrogen, this announcement is very good news. Given how strategic this technology could be for the United States, is securing some level of support from the current administration, which seeks “energy dominance”, out of the question?
congrats Steven.
