#ICYMI ????Last week, we surprised 2,600 students! kiddos in the Central Unified School District with a warm sweatshirt just in time for the winter season ahead! Keep up the amazing work!

We know that as winter approaches, staying warm and comfortable helps you stay focused on your learning. Our goal is for each of you to feel cozy, confident, and ready to do your best in the classroom no matter the weather. Today we were able to gift a beautiful school spirit fleece sweater to Houghton Kearneys entire student body. So this just means a lot to these kids out here. The impact is going to reach 25. 100 students, you know, we really appreciate the partnership with, with Granville, also with the assistance league, like I said, our foundation for central schools. So it is definitely a community partnership and, and we couldn't do this alone. And this is one program that we partner up with and really it's a, it's a partnership on how to help. Ultimately the academic achievement of all the kids in our community and Central Unified is doing a great job and we're glad to provide a little bit of assistance on on helping to make sure our kids stay warm during the winter months. I personally know growing up in Fresno in a mixed family, you know, we didn't have the dollars to buy a school spirit sweater. They're like 50 bucks. And so for these kids, this could be like their only school spirit sweater and they're going to hold on to it until they literally. Grow out of it. So seeing everyone take advantage and be part of something in the school spirit, school culture, it means that we're family and that's really what Central Unified is and that's what our partners believe. We are Granville and Assistance League, they're part of that family, too.
