Your GTM is doomed if you're focused only on this one thing. ?? Launching. Nope, it's not just about launching. GTM is a continuous process. And it should be evolving and scaling continuously past whatever launch. And, no, it’s NOT just about the product either. Here are 4 main things that IMHO helped us execute an impactful GTM: 1. Market Clarity > Product Obsession Do you really know your target customer? CB Insights says 35% of startups fail because there’s no market need for their product. Don’t fall into the “nice-to-have” trap. Listen to the market, and adjust your product and GTM accordingly. Don't be afraid to pivot - product, comms, all of it. 2. Data and Integrated Tech Stack Data drives successful GTM, but fragmented systems kill growth. A unified CRM and compatible ecosystem of solutions for sales, marketing, and customer success ensure visibility and real-time insights across the buyer journey. Integrated tools help boost revenue 24% faster (Forrester). Decisions without data is like driving blindfolded. (oof, I’m getting poetic ha) 3. Distribution First, Product Second Even the best products flop without the right distribution. Up to 50% of launches fail due to poor distribution strategies (Gartner). Focus on where your audience actually hangs out - like LinkedIn for B2B. Or if your acquisition is mostly about bringing in new users, then focus on their expansion as the primary growth for revenue. 4. Feedback Loops > Assumptions Listen to your customers. Companies that prioritize feedback grow 4-8% faster than their peers (Bain & Company). Ask your Marketing, Sales and Success teams to proactively ask feedback. Use NPS surveys and A/B testing to refine in real time. Then actually use that info. *** Yes, there are other things, like Target market and ICP, Pricing and Packaging, Alignment between GTM teams, etc. But the point today is: great GTM strategies aren’t static - they evolve. Listen, build, test, adjust, repeat. Agree? Anything I missed? #GoToMarketStrategy #ProductMarketing #BusinessGrowth

Launching a new product is a thrilling ride, but let’s be honest— it’s full of highs and lows. While creating something new and innovative is exciting, the real challenge is getting it into the hands of your target audience. And this is where many businesses stumble. Your go-to-market (GTM) strategy isn’t just another step in the process—it’s the ?? to whether your launch is a success or a miss. Think of your GTM strategy as your blueprint for turning that big idea into a thriving business. You can have the best product out there, but if you don’t know how to position it, who you’re selling to, or how to reach them, you’re setting yourself up for unnecessary struggles. Here’s why a solid GTM plan is crucial: 1. Positioning & Messaging: It’s all about standing out. Your GTM strategy defines how your product fits in the market and what makes it unique. It’s how you communicate your value and cut through the noise. 2. Customer Connection: It’s not just about selling; it’s about building relationships. A strong GTM strategy ensures you’re talking to the right people—those who actually need what you’re offering— with messaging that resonates. 3. Empowering Your Sales & Marketing Teams: Your GTM plan is your playbook. It gives your team the direction, tools, and confidence they need to win in the market. 4. Flexibility to Pivot: Things change. A well-thought-out strategy allows you to be agile, making adjustments based on real-time feedback without losing momentum. In the end, the product launch is just the beginning. Success comes from strategically navigating the market with purpose and clarity. So, as you prepare for your next launch, ask yourself: Is your GTM strategy ready to carry your vision from concept to reality? Investing in your go-to-market strategy isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s a must-have for ensuring all your hard work pays off. Let’s make sure you’re not just launching, but launching with purpose and precision. #GoToMarketStrategy #ProductLaunch #BusinessSuccess #ContractQueenBri

Don’t mistake your GTM strategy with your product launch strategy! They are not the same. 1) ?????????????? ???????????? ???????????????? When it comes to launching a new SaaS product, the goal is to let your target audience know about the new offering and guide them through the complete customer journey. While this can be summarized as "awareness" and "acquisition," it involves much more. It involves defining specific user segments, crafting personalized messaging, engaging in the customer experience from start to finish (including product tours and onboarding), etc. If you're able to attract the right audience to the product, you can achieve great results with your launch strategy. 2) ?????? ???????????????? The go-to-market strategy goes beyond the initial launch hype. Your GTM strategy should always be aligned with your product's market success. If the product fails to resonate with customers initially, it's not a marketing issue but a product-market fit issue. Without achieving product-market fit, customers won't truly embrace your product or become active users, and you'll encounter the same churn problem later on. To achieve GTM successes, consider: - Thoroughly segmenting your target audience - Customizing the user and buyer journey for each persona - Base the strategy on initial data to fine-tune what's working and what's not. A solid GTM strategy also takes into account various factors, such as product-led, sales-led, or marketing-led approaches, and relies heavily on data and analytics to understand adoption, retention, and monetization.
