In an industry where we are seeing a huge shift towards authenticity, storytelling, emotional investment and connection... I'm hesitant to see how the future of creator marketing and talent management lies in AI. Grace is correct, it's hard to find a respectable and responsible management team. It's not accessible for everyone and while I agree with Grace's reasoning for wanting to invest in a platform like this, isn't it better that we focus on educating creators before using AI to undercut talent managers? This was one of the reasons I was driven to set up the ANYTHING BUT REGULAR Creator Academy. To educate Creators. My goal with this platform, is to bridge the gap between brands and creators and encourage conversations that solve problems in this industry. As a talent manager myself, I have been approached and 'ghosted' by the Tala team on multiple occasions, some for large projects that never came to fruition, with no explanation. This is what we need to improve, communication for creators. However, I am interested to see the functionality of the platform once it's live. Could it change our minds once we see how it works?!

Tem ?Nugmanov, CEO of Optemization, was on the podcast this week. Ironically… he cautioned Notion users on the idea of OVER-OPTIMIZING their workspaces. At LA Tech Week, some VC and founder types hit him with a question that stopped him in his tracks. — ”How do you take a workspace that is already a 4/5 to a 5/5?” Apparently, that's not a situation Tem deals with on the regular. But it got his gears turning, and he realized something key. The answer? Keep it simple, stupid. Tem sees tons of folks getting a little too excited about all the crazy stuff Notion can do. They get sucked into this never-ending cycle of tweaking and optimizing every little thing. But here's the reality: There's a point where all that extra effort starts to give diminishing returns. At some point, you just gotta call it good and start actually using the workflow. And here's the kicker: Even a "good enough" setup is going to get you most of the results you're after. So Tem's words of wisdom for all you Notion nerds out there? Don't get too carried away with all the bells and whistles.
