Picture this, for example: You’ve probably heard of the 10,000-Hour Rule: that it takes 10K hours to become a master at ANYTHING?? According to research, leaders realistically invest as few as 52 hours a year on strategic tasks. Tasks that actually steer their company forward. (Wow…) (Don’t worry *too* much though!) While this suggests that most of us are not even close to “strategic competence," just learning to recognize time as a currency can be transformative.
