?? Standardization: The Key to Unlocking Hydrogen Mobility A key challenge in advancing hydrogen mobility remains the standardization of components and the harmonization of regulations. For instance, the same tank cannot be used for mobile refueling stations, hydrogen transport on trailers, or in trains. During the 9th International Workshop on Hydrogen Infrastructure, Bart Rosendaal from Hexagon Purus highlighted the urgent need for standardization efforts that are grounded in real-world applications. It’s crucial that we align our initiatives with practical requirements to drive progress in the hydrogen sector. Hydrogenious LOHC secures €72.5m grant for hydrogen project ?? Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies has just secured a €72.5m grant after their project was recognised as an Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI). ? Hydrogenious LOHC Infra Bavaria will use this funding towards its Green Hydrogen @ Blue Danube project. With 70% of the funds from the German Federal Government and 30% from the State of Bavaria, this project is set to make a significant impact. By 2028, the LOHC ReleasePLANT will supply up to 1,800 tonnes of green hydrogen to the Bavarian industrial area, utilizing their innovative liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) technology. ?? The European Commission's endorsement highlights the enormous potential for hydrogen infrastructure across central Europe.
