Google Search Console Delays Are Not A Google Core Update According to reports of delays in Google Search Console, an unverified update is being rolled out. That is not the case at all. Google's John Mueller stated that this is not a core upgrade, or even an unconfirmed core update. He wrote on LinkedIn, "To be clear: no, this is not an unconfirmed core upgrade; we will announce it when it is time. In general, reporting is separate from the process of rating updates." https://lnkd.in/eSGPQjCd

It appears the attacker is attempting to create an alarm flood. This script repeatedly triggers alarms on the system every 10 seconds. Not all malicious scripts are designed to steal data; some, like this one, aim to disrupt your defenses by overwhelming them with alerts.
