I had the chance to build my own chatbot using ChatGPT (so yes, I've chatted with myself a lot lately!) and got hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium—making repetitive tasks a thing of the past. I also discovered a new love for blogging and learned how to turn complex tech topics into clear, engaging reads. This experience wasn’t just about growing my skills; it was about diving into the future of tech and having a blast along the way. As AI-generated content and deepfakes become increasingly sophisticated, creators face the daunting task of protecting their work's authenticity. During my internship at Adori Labs, I had the distinct opportunity to develop an AI content authentication service using their patented watermark technology with guidance of the CEO of Adori Labs, Nathan Iyer, who architected the design. Adori’s watermarking solution effectively authenticates ownership and empowers creators by imperceptibly encoding the creator’s unique ID into the audio that is capable of surviving any manipulations on the media. The project's robust architecture, built on a foundation of ????????????????????, ??????????-????????????, ?????? ?????????????????????? ????????????????????, has the potential to be applied in various use cases beyond content authentication, such as training AI models, processing data pipelines, and image/video processing. "How Far Are We to GPT-4V? Closing the Gap to Commercial Multimodal Models with Open-Source Suites" Zhe Chen et al. Breaking down barriers in multimodal models! ?? Thanks to the development of Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal large language models (MLLMs) have made important breakthroughs in visual understanding and complex-vision tasks. However, there's still a big difference in performance and accuracy between open-source models and proprietary models like GPT-4V and Gemini-Pro. Therefore an expert team of Ai researchers have introduced InternVL 1.5, an open-source multimodal large language model (MLLM) designed to bridge this gap. Leveraging three key improvements, InternVL 1.5 showcases competitive performance across various benchmarks, achieving state-of-the-art results in 8 of 18 evaluations. These key improvements are: 1) Flexible Resolution: it enables users to select the optimal resolution for their images depending on their goals. For example, low-resolution mode can capture the general description of an image, while high-resolution is can be used for Optical Character Recognition (OCR). 2) Bilingual Proficiency: it is able to proficiently handle multimodal perception both in English and Chinese, particularly surpassing GPT-4V in Chinese language-tasks. 3) Visual Representation: through a continuous learning strategy, visual representation capabilities of this model are flexible to input resolution and several visual domains. These advancements endow InternVL 1.5 with flexible resolution options, bilingual proficiency, and robust visual representation, positioning it as a formidable contender in the multimodal landscape. With its competitive performance and open-source nature, InternVL 1.5 promises to drive progress and collaboration within the multimodal community, narrowing the gap between open-source models and proprietary counterparts.
