As a pure, single-component refrigerant, R-32 can be easily added or recharged in both liquid and gas phases, ensuring consistent performance. Its simplicity in cleaning, reusing on-site, and reclaiming off-site with minimal processing makes it an efficient choice for modern HVAC systems. Learn more at: https://lnkd.in/gRu-iMNz
I like the fact that daikin/amana/goodman chose r32 over r454b. R32 is easier to work with, not a blend more stable.kinda goes back to the r22 days.
Great to see Goodman Air Conditioning & Heating championing this refrigerant—streamlining maintenance while supporting environmental responsibility. ????
This is great
R-32 refrigerant, or difluoromethane, is an increasingly popular choice in the HVAC industry for its efficiency and lower environmental impact compared to traditional refrigerants. With a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 675, R-32 offers a more eco-friendly option, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and aligning with global efforts to combat climate change. Its high energy efficiency means that systems using R-32 require less refrigerant and operate more effectively, leading to potential cost savings on energy. Though mildly flammable, R-32 is safe when handled properly and used within recommended system designs. As countries continue phasing out high-GWP refrigerants, R-32 is becoming a preferred option for new HVAC installations worldwide.
