?? Multifamily Transaction Activity Sees Dip in Q1 2024 ?? After three strong quarters, multifamily investment took a turn in Q1 2024. Total volume dropped to $594M, down 17.6% from Q4, but still up 66.5% from Q1 2023 and higher than last year's quarterly average of $536.9M. ?? ?? Cap rates increased by 70 bps, hitting 5.4%, reflecting the higher cost of capital. Pricing per unit fell 5.7% from Q4 to $355,493/unit, yet it remains 15.5% higher than Q1 2023.
