Have you ever lost momentum in your business? It usually comes after: ????a very busy season working with clients ??an anchor client decides not to renew ??a challenging time in your personal life In the latest BizChix podcast episode, I share a story of when I trained for triathlons and we would ??♀?cycle through a canyon that had numerous hills. Imagine what it would have been like to start pedaling up one of these steep hills from a full ??stop. Impossible? No. Would I likely have had to walk until I got to the top? YES! ??There is a bright side. Over the last 10 years coaching women enterpreneurs, I have watched clients lose momentum in their buisness and have to restart relationship marketing and visibility activities. A few clients I have right now were in that situation last fall and now are at full capacity and need to hire to keep up with the demand (FYI: they could also start a wait list). Things did not change overnight. ??It took months. Since I started this solopreneur journey, launching this podcast has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. ?? Entrepreneurship is tough—it’s a lot of work, a lot of concessions, and a lot of wondering if all the effort will eventually pay off, and more importantly, when! After a decade as a designer, I’ve always been behind the scenes, creating decors for TV shows and events, as well as designing logos and websites, hidden behind my computer. This was my comfort zone. But today, I’m stepping out into the light with my very first podcast, where I’m sharing a piece of my life and the journey that led to the creation of Babela. In this first episode, I open up about my past, my struggles, and what drives my passion to help women boost their confidence. It took immense courage to put myself out there, to be vulnerable in a way I’ve never been before, whether with friends or in my work. I hope this episode helps other women out there feel less alone. This podcast isn’t just about me, though. While the first episode is an exception, the series will feature insights from brilliant expert women across various fields.
